FAQ

  • When do you have parties?
    Parties are held Saturdays & Sundays 10:00 - 12:00 or 1:30 - 3:30
  • How long will I have to decorate?
    You will have one hour to decorate before the party. Morning parties may set up from 9:00-10:00. Afternoon parties may set up from 12:30-1:30.
  • How long will I have to clean up?
    Parties have thirty minutes to pack up. Morning parties 12:00-12:30 Afternoon parties 3:30-4:00
  • How many times will each child ride a pony?
    If you book 1 pony, each child will have the opportunity to ride 1 time. (The birthday child will get 2 rides). If you book 2 ponies, each child will have the opportunity to ride 2 times. If you book 3 ponies, each child will have the opportunity to ride 3 times.
  • Should I bring a game or craft?
    TES will provide one horse themed craft for each child. We have room for an additional game or craft. Good ideas for games are bean bag toss or pin the tail on the donkey. We do not have room for larger activities such as parachutes or soccer. TES reserves the right to stop any game that we deem unsafe around horses.
  • Who can ride?
    Children 4 years or older may ride. Children 13 years or older may not ride. Adults may not ride.
  • Is there a weight limit?
    Riders must weigh less than 100 pounds.
  • What kind of decorations may I use?
    Good choices include: Table coverings Tabletop decorations Paper lanterns Absolutely NO Piñatas Noisemakers Balloons (They scare horses!) We reserve the right to remove any decorations we deem unsafe.
  • Can I bring food?
    Absolutely! You may bring whatever food you like. You may have pizza delivered. No alcohol You may not have Caterer Deliver Food Food Truck Ice Cream Truck Taco Station Rented Tables and/or Chairs
  • What should we wear?
    Everyone should wear closed toed shoes. TES will provide boots for guests with inappropiate footwear. Children who are riding should wear pants. TES will provide helmets for the children. All children must wear appropiate footwear and a helmet to ride a pony.
  • May we feed the horses?
    Yes. A TES employee will escort you to the barn to feed the horses. Children must be accompanied by an adult to enter the barn. You may bring carrots, apples and cucumbers.
  • What do horses like to eat?
    You may bring Cucumbers - our preferred choice as it is the healthiest for the horses Carrots Apples Bananas (peeled)
  • Can we feed all of the horses?
    No. You may feed TES horses only. You may NOT feed privately owned horses. Some TES horses have dietary restrictions and can not be fed treats.
  • What if I have additional questions?
    The office is more than happy to answer all of your questions.
  • How many children may ride?
    15 children may ride. All children aged 3+ are included in the total number of children, even if they are not riding. 15 children ages 3+ may attend the party.
  • My child has a lot of friends. Can you do a party for more than 12 children?
    We offer a fully immersive experience where the birthday child and their friends are invited into our barn to meet our wonderful horses. The party will have a hands on opportunity to learn about horsecare: helping to feed and groom these majestic creatures. We must limit the size of the party to 12 children.
